HSE Sport and Entertainment , a USA based sports marketing company , has advised ACV Sports Ventures LLC on an investment in English National League team Sutton United.

ACV Sports Ventures is a California based investment entity owned and managed by real estate developer Gary Otto. Gary is a South African born , lifelong soccer fan and a founding partner in JH Real Estate Partners Inc,  a privately held Real Estate and operating Company. ACV is also joined by Benoit Touquette , a renowned Napa Valley winemaker

"To be able to now invest in such a historic and storied team as Sutton United is a proud and humbling moment for me. Ironically, I grew up a Leeds United fan and am to this day , amazed they knocked us out of the FA Cup in 2017! Our advisors on the investment , HSE Sport is headed by Gary Hopkins, a lifelong Coventry City fan. Coventry City also suffered at the hands of Sutton United in in the 1989 FA Cup , making us both fully aware of the history and respect Sutton holds in the English game. Our due diligence has shown what an exceptionally well-run club it is at all levels and we couldn't be prouder to help deliver investment and expertise to help them move forward"

" It is also receiving a lot of global interest at the moment , notably with the acquisition of Wrexham AFC by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynold and Rob McElhenney. The League also has generated interest from the recent promotion of Salford City , a team owned by David Beckham (and his "Class of 92" friends ) to League 2"

About Sutton United

Sutton United (formed in 1898) is a team known and respected by football fans throughout the "game" not least of which for its' "giant killing" FA Cup exploits. Sutton is currently in 1st place in the Vanarama National League , is based in South London and prides itself on being a community club. The club also runs Women's , youth and disability teams and manages  a highly successful youth Academy.
